Gary P. Cram, M.D.
Carolina Neurosurgery, P.A.
Dr. Cram was born and raised in New England. He relocated to Raleigh with his family in 1981. Dr. Cram attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a BS in Biology in 1988. After college, he spent two years doing ovarian cancer research at the Duke University Cancer Center prior to entering medical school at Wake Forest University in 1990. He entered residency in Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University in 1994, moving to Greensboro in 2001 upon completion of his residency. He maintains a general neurosurgery practice with an emphasis on spinal surgery.
Dr. Cram and his wife Sheri, a Raleigh native, attended Carolina together and married in 1991. “They have two daughters, Megan and Ashley, and stay active with interests in golf, tennis, watersports and traveling. They are also avid sports enthusiasts, supporting the local Carolina professional and college teams.
